Honda has announced a massive safety recall affecting over 400,000 vehicles due to a critical issue with certain 18-inch accessory alloy wheels.

The Issue:
A manufacturing error at the wheel supplier meant that the steel lug seat inserts were not properly secured inside the aluminum wheels. This defect can cause the wheel nuts to loosen over time.
What Owners Need to Do:
Honda will be directly contacting owners. Dealers will inspect all four wheels and, if necessary, replace the wheels and hubs completely, free of charge.
