OAKVILLE, ONT. — Halton Regional Police are hunting for a group of organized suspects following a sophisticated “smash-and-grab” style theft at Lockwood Leasing early Sunday morning.

The Heist: How it Happened
According to investigators, the robbery began at approximately 3:35 a.m. on January 11, 2026. The dealership, located on South Service Road West, was closed at the time.
- Entry: A group of eight individuals arrived at the scene and gained entry by smashing a front window.
- Key Access: Once inside, the group used a crowbar to breach a secured key lockbox.
- The Exit: With keys in hand, each suspect entered a vehicle and drove off through the rear of the property in a coordinated convoy.
Current Vehicle Status
While the investigation is moving quickly, five of the eight vehicles remain missing. Police have successfully tracked and recovered three of the most expensive cars in various locations across the GTA.
- Recovered: A Ferrari (valued at $620,000), a Porsche 911 Carrera, and one BMW M4.
- Still Missing: A Porsche 911 GT3, two Mercedes-Benz S580s, another BMW M4, and one additional Mercedes-Benz.
Police Appeal
The suspects were all captured on surveillance footage wearing dark clothing, hoodies, and face masks. While the high value of the cars suggests a professional operation, police have not yet identified the individuals involved.
