The Incident

The blaze erupted late Sunday afternoon at a commercial property, quickly engulfing the 19th-century Forsyth Building. By Monday morning, the building’s iconic corner dome had collapsed, leaving a “gutted shell” and forcing emergency crews to establish a wide safety perimeter that cuts directly through the station’s main access points.
