The President’s Schedule

According to the official White House release, the President’s day consists primarily of private events:

• Morning: A “class photo” with White House interns.
• Afternoon: Policy meetings and “signing time.”

All of these events are currently marked as “closed press,” meaning the press pool (including the BBC) is not permitted to attend. While schedules can change at the last minute, no public remarks are currently planned.

Upcoming Briefing

While the President may remain behind closed doors, the administration will still address the media. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is scheduled to hold a briefing at 13:00 ET (18:00 BST).

The briefing is expected to be dominated by questions regarding the ongoing situation with Iran.
