They cite ongoing issues with the e-filing portal, data mismatches between Form 26AS and AIS, and delays in TDS documents.
- Government’s hesitation: Tax authorities are watching the filing numbers and portal performance closely. Experts say the government is reluctant to grant another extension, as it could disrupt the entire tax calendar.
