Passenger Safety Protocols
Despite the disruption, airport officials maintain that air traffic is currently operating as normal. However, witnesses inside the terminal described a more urgent scene. One passenger reported that travelers were ordered by security to evacuate areas near glass windows and move into reinforced, protected sections of the building to seek shelter.
Escalating Disruption
This event follows a similar security breach this past Saturday, when a drone landed near a terminal building. These back-to-back incidents have heightened security concerns at one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs.
