Some farmers receiving PM Kisan benefits might need to complete a physical verification before getting their next payment. The government is doing this to ensure only eligible farmers receive the funds.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! Here are the main reasons your payment might be on hold for verification:
- You acquired land after February 1, 2019.
- More than one member of your family is receiving benefits.
If your payment is temporarily withheld, don’t worry. The benefits will be released once the physical verification is complete.
How to Check Your Status and Avoid Delays
To make sure your details are correct and to check your status for the next installment, follow these steps:
- Go to the official PM-KISAN website.
- On the homepage, click on “Beneficiary Status.”
- You can then check your status by entering your Aadhaar, bank account, or mobile number.
- Make sure your e-KYC details are up to date, as this is a mandatory step to continue receiving payments.
