TEHRAN — In a move that has sent shockwaves across the globe, Iranian state media has confirmed the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The leader was killed during a high-precision joint military operation conducted by U.S. and Israeli forces on February 28.

The operation targeted the Supreme Leader’s primary compound in central Tehran. Reports indicate a massive bombardment that leveled much of the fortified complex. While the primary target was Khamenei, officials suggest the strike also claimed the lives of several high-ranking figures, including the Chief of Army Staff and the head of the IRGC, alongside members of the Supreme Leader’s immediate family.
