New Suspect Profile

Authorities are asking the public to look for a male, approximately 5’9″ to 5’10” with an average build. Key identifiers include:

  • Distinctive Gear: A black, 25-liter Ozark Trail Hiker Pack. Investigators are specifically tracking sales of this Walmart-exclusive brand in the Tucson area.
  • Attire: The suspect was seen in dark clothing, gloves, and a mask during the time of the disappearance.

Critical Timeline and Forensic Leads

The investigation into the February 1 disappearance has shifted focus toward several high-priority leads:

  • Forensic Evidence: Two black gloves were recovered in the Catalina Foothills, just 1.5 miles from Nancy’s residence. They are currently undergoing expedited DNA testing.
  • The Disappearance Window: Security footage shows the suspect tampering with cameras at 1:47 a.m. Just 41 minutes later, at 2:28 a.m., Nancy’s pacemaker app lost its connection, signaling the likely moment of her abduction.

The FBI has processed over 13,000 tips to date. The Guthrie family continues to plead for her safe return, urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.
