Delta and American Express just announced a major refresh for their SkyMiles credit card lineup. Existing cardholders get immediate new travel benefits with no annual fee increases, while new cardholders can score massive, limited-time welcome offers through July 15.

Limited-Time Welcome Offers

Offers end July 15. All spending requirements must be met within the first 6 months.

Personal Cards (Two-Part Bonuses)

  • Gold Card (Up to 90k miles): Earn 70,000 miles after spending $3,000 + another 20,000 miles after spending an additional $2,000.
  • Platinum Card (Up to 100k miles): Earn 80,000 miles after spending $4,000 + another 20,000 miles after spending an additional $2,000.
  • Reserve Card (Up to 125k miles): Earn 100,000 miles after spending $6,000 + another 25,000 miles after spending an additional $3,000.

Business Cards (Single-Tier Bonuses)

  • Gold Business: 90,000 miles after a $6,000 spend.
  • Platinum Business: 100,000 miles after an $8,000 spend.
  • Reserve Business: 125,000 miles after a $15,000 spend.

New Travel Benefits

Delta is upgrading card features to add more value to your travel day:

  • Second Checked Bag Free: Gold, Platinum, and Reserve (personal and business) cardholders now get a second free checked bag on domestic flights. This is on top of the first free bag benefit they already receive.
  • $120 Rideshare Credit for Gold: Gold cardholders now get up to $120 in annual rideshare credits ($10/month).Note: This benefit requires enrollment and kicks in after your first annual card renewal, bringing the Gold card in line with the Platinum and Reserve rideshare perks.
