Key Legal Actions and Investigation
In a swift response to the killing, a Dhaka court on Sunday issued a formal travel ban against the prime suspect, Faisal Karim Masud. Investigators believe Masud is the shooter responsible for the fatal attack.
- Lookout Notice: Police have circulated a nationwide lookout notice for Masud and several accomplices.
- Evading Capture: Security agencies report that Masud is currently in hiding within Bangladesh, frequently changing locations to bypass intensified surveillance and multiple deployed investigative teams.

- The Ambush: While Hadi was traveling in a battery-powered auto-rickshaw, two assailants on a motorcycle pulled alongside and shot him in the head at point-blank range.
