The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended UDC of MCD Nazafgargh Zone, New Delhi while accepting a bribe of Rs. 50,000/- from the complainant on 04.08.2025.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!CBI registered the case on 04.08.2025 against the said accused on allegations that the accused demanded 10% of the total amount i.e. Rs. 8,38,565/- as a bribe from the complainant for releasing the gratuity amount and if he (complainant) did not pay the bribe money than the remaining rest balance will also not be released.
After negotiation, the accused agreed to accept the bribe amount of Rs. 50,000 as a reward for releasing the gratuity amount of Rs. 8,38,565 and also for processing the release of the remaining gratuity amount.
CBI laid a trap on 04.08.2025 and caught the accused red handed while demanding and accepting the bribe of Rs. 50,000/- from the complainant. The aforesaid accused person has been apprehended.
Further investigation is under way.
