Baroda BNP Paribas Launches New Gold ETF Fund of Fund

The New Fund Offer (NFO) is open now and will close on August 14, 2025.
This new fund will invest in units of the Baroda BNP Paribas Gold ETF, which in turn holds physical gold. This structure allows you to invest in gold through mutual fund units, making it accessible even with small amounts.
Key Features:
- Low Minimum Investment: Start your investment with a lump sum of just ₹1,000 or a Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) for as little as ₹500 per month.
- Flexible Exit: There is a 1% exit load for redemptions made within the first 15 days of allotment. After that, there is no exit load.
- Expert Management: The fund is jointly managed by Gurvinder Singh Wasan, Madhav Vyas, and Swapna Shelar.
According to Prashant Pimple, CIO – Fixed Income at Baroda BNP Paribas MF, this fund aims to make gold accessible to more people, especially as rising prices have made direct investment challenging.
Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund is a joint venture between Bank of Baroda and BNP Paribas Asset Management.
